New Mexico Stands Up! is a non-partisan, volunteer-driven organization working to protect individual rights through public interest legal action, provide additional support to New Mexicans facing loss of health freedom, and educate the public about the reality of the declared public health emergency and their rights with regard to mandated medical interventions. We are united in our desire to preserve our civil liberties, to expose the misrepresentations surrounding the declared public health emergency, and to hold our elected leaders and government agencies accountable for their actions.
Our legal team has also partnered with Ohio Stands Up! to file suit against the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for intentionally misleading the public about the dangers of COVID-19.
Another landmark suit was filed by our legal team on February 28, 2021, challenging the Doña Ana County mandate of the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) COVID-19 injection for first responders. Review our lawsuits...
New Mexico Stands Up! is proud to be a member of New Mexico Freedoms Alliance (NMFA), a non-partisan, statewide coalition of groups that advance the causes of freedom, health, and accountability of government.

Jonathan strives to do whatever he can to further justice and liberty in New Mexico. He has practiced law for three decades and has experience in many different legal areas. He recently represented Jalisco Cafe in Silver City, which was sued by the State of New Mexico for remaining open in defiance of the public health orders. Because of his efforts, the Court refused the State's demand to close the cafe and invoke substantial fines, instead ordering the State to reinstate Jalisco's restaurant license and issuing only small fines.
